What is Go Air?

Go Air view itself as a smart people's airline. Established in November 2005 under the managership of Jeh Wadia, Managing Director of the Wadia group, Go Air aims at offering passengers consistent quality and pocket friendly fares. The airline uses the state-of-the-art Airbus A320 aircraft fleet.

Go Air was India's first low fare carrier to win the prestigious international award for "Excellent Services" awarded by the Pacific Area Travel Writers Association (PATWA).

Where all do they fly?

Go Air's flight route encompasses all the metro destinations as well as many other prominent leisure destinations across India. Go Air is headquartered at Mumbai and have direct flights from there to Pune and Goa. Go Air also flies to the southern cities of Chennai and Bangalore. Ports such as Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Jammu and Srinagar are also within the airlines route network.

Go Air, in it's aggressive expansion strategy, will add several new destinations along with it's fleet growth in the future and they are targeting over 10 other cities by 2011 .

Some of these routes would include Kozhikode, Madurai and Rajkot..

What do they offer?

Go Air offers convenient online and offiline booking options. For those passengers that cannot avail the services of a credit card or debit card Go Air offers, they can book tickets through their distribution mediums called GoTravel Agents or through the GoCallCentre. In addition, customers can directly buy against cash from their residence against home delivery of the tickets. Tickets are also available at the Airport Counters.

They now offer 561 weekly flights to over 11 destinations.

Baggage information

GoAir allows its Customers to check-in up to 15 kgs of luggage (no infant allowance), checked baggage not to exceed 158 cm in overall dimensions (L+W+H). Please note that no hand baggage is permitted from Srinagar and Jammu Airports. GoAir allows a total of 22 kgs check-in baggage on all flights from these airports.
